Please fill out a House Security Check located under forms and return it to the New Athens Village Hall and the New Athens Police Department will do extra patrol around your home while you are away.

 



 
Information:
The New Athens Police Department is headed by Chief Leo Simburger. The department has three full time officers, and seven part-time officers. There is an officer on active patrol 24-hours a day. Each full-time officer has their own patrol car that they take home with them. This allows for a speedier response time in case of an emergency. The New Athens Police Department has a mutual aid agreement with neighboring communities, which allows for additional police resources.
